Proenza Schouler White Label Proposal Project
This proposal project was focused on the ability of garments to change and adapt to the wearer's needs. It is focused on the idea of an adaptive reveal. Displaying things one may not know were there.
Patterns were made to reflect this idea by focusing on octopus skin and its ability to morph with its environment, it is subtle but not distracting. Zipper inserts throughout the garments reveal these octopus patterns underneath while also changing the silhouette of the clothes. Other garments have pieces you can easily take on and off to conform to the wearer's surroundings and needs. There is also a focus on the skin being the revealing factor. Fusing draping and the concept creates organic shapes that can be worn with ease and elegance.
